Bushs Inaugural Prayer Olympic Outrage Harry Potter Mail Box & more!| Happy New Year! Like many of you, we watched much of the inauguration events and blessed to see and hear Franklin Grahams prayer of invocation, asking Gods forgiveness for the sins of the nation and asking His divine forgiveness and hand in the future. Carol and both felt like a dark, spiritual cloud was lifted from our nation. Calling for a day of fasting and prayer for Sunday, President Bush reset the spiritual priority for this nation. From his inaugural speech up until today, with the appointment of "Faith Based" programs, one thing is clear - George W. Bush is a godly Leader!
Jason still works with me in the ministry and has such a heart for young people. He
currently lives in Ketchum, Idaho. He is very active with his local church, ministering
to teens and young adults. He is now working on summer outreaches and will be
bringing teams together for the upcoming Mormon Olympics [see article this issue]. I, too, can say that I have not been disobedient to that
call on my own life this past quarter of a century. And I praise God for each of you who
have stood by our side as we have fought the thousands of spiritual battles for so many
lost souls. |

"Seek The Larger Vision" Text of the prayer by the Rev. Franklin Graham at President Bushs swearing-in ceremony. Saturday Jan.21,2001
|
| "Blessed are you, O Lord, our God. Yours, O God,
is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for
everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, O Lord, is the kingdom. Youre
exalted as head over all. Wealth and honor come from you. You are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power to exalt and to give strength to all. As President Lincoln once said, "We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved these many years in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. It behooves us then to humble ourselves before the offended powers, to confess our national sins and to pray for clemency and forgiveness." O Lord, as we come together on this historic and solemn occasion to inaugurate once again a president and vice president, teach us afresh that power, wisdom and salvation come only from your hand. We pray, O Lord, for President-elect George W. Bush and Vice President-elect Richard B. Cheney to whom you have entrusted leadership of this nation at this moment in history. We pray that youll help them bring our country together so that we may rise above partisan politics and seek the larger vision of your will for our nation. Use them to bring reconciliation between the races, healing to political wounds, that we may truly become one nation under God. Give our new president, and all who advise him, calmness in the face of storms, encouragement in the face of frustration, and humility in the face of success. Give them the wisdom to know and to do what is right and the courage to say no to all that is contrary to your statutes of holy law. Lord, we pray for their families, and especially their wives, Laura Bush and Lynne Cheney, that they may sense your presence and know your love. Today, we entrust to you President and Senator Clinton, and Vice President and Mrs. Gore. Lead them as they journey through new doors of opportunity to serve others. Now, O Lord, we dedicate this presidential inaugural ceremony to you. May this be the beginning of a new dawn for America as we humble ourselves before you and acknowledge you alone as our Lord, our Savior and our Redeemer. We pray this in the name of the father, and of the son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."

| A recent story in the Idaho Statesman set
off a fire in my heart when I realized how control the Salt Lake LDS brethren have over
the upcoming 20002 Winter Olympics. In his article, reporter Larry Fish opened the
belly of the beast to the rest of the world. Mormons Welcome Olympics Attention - Medals plaza near temple guarantees churchs exposure - Larry Fish Idaho Statesman, 12/26/00, page one. "When gold medals are handed out at the 2002 Winter Games, the ceremony Statistics from several web sites, like the official www.SLC2002.org and www.LDS.org state that more than 3.5 BILLION PEOPLE from around the globe will watch the games on TV. The 2002 Winter Olympics expect athletes and officials from approximately 80 nations during the competitions. "TV camerasand thus the eyes of the worldwill have little choice but to linger on the churchs nearby gothic temple, bristling with spires, and on other buildings that make up the headquarters of a rapidly growing American-born faith that claims 11 million members worldwide. "Though tainted by a bidding scandal, Salt Lake Citys Winter Games will certainly focus much of the worlds attention on a dynamic Mormon culture, which is why the media-savvy church is gearing up to capitalize on the opportunity. Church officials say they will go for the soft sellno aggressive missionaries or overt ties between the Games and the church. However, the location of the medals plaza alone guarantees that billions of people worldwide will be exposed to the churchs teachings. "It is fair to say that there will be a positive impact," said W. Craig Zwick, president of the LDS missionary district that includes Pennsylvania and New Jersey. "Its a name-recognition deal." Zwick, like many others, hopes that camera shots of the temple will become the Games signature image, and that the media, in telling the churchs story, wont get "hung up on polygamy, Mormon wealth and a lot of things that dont matter." "... the spotlight will be shining on the church, which plans its own
media operation barely a block from the Olympics official center, to handle
requests from the 11,500 media representatives expected. A Salt Lake Reader Responds to the same article in the SL Tribune,
saying, "I have a question about something that I have not yet seen
addressed: Why FACTS :
We are also pursuing a full-scale evangelistic outreach that would be coordinated with several churches in Idaho and the Salt Lake area. The stage is set for the biggest show down in the history of Mormonism. This event is so big, that no single Christian Church or denomination can handle it alone. There has never been so much unity and cooperation with the body of Chris and its focus on the Ministry to Mormonism. This is exactly what God wants: Unity in the Body of Christ. "When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him." Isaiah 59:19 Please start praying !!! We need your help both spiritually and financially to fight this battle and win. Pray with us for the churches in Utah. Pray for the Pastors and Evangelists and pray for the harvest workers during this next year. |

Harry Potter's Religion by Eric Barger & David Benoit (Excerpted from the book Entertaining Spirits Unaware: The End-Time Occult Invasion) |
| Witches have good reason to be excited
about Harry Potter. The book series is giving the "craft" a huge boost. No
wonder that when interviewed by USA Today, a warlock endorsed Harry Potter and
bubbled with excitement at the series' wide acceptance by the mainstream. Over 64% of the respondents answered that they opposed Harry Potter, but 31% said they favored the book series with only about 4% marking "don't know" for their answer. It appears that if Eric's readership (markedly conservative) are close ideologically to that of Ibelieve.com's then the "undecideds" are thinning out with many readers coming down in favor of Harry. Proving this, here are a few of the responses we got to our poll:These authors have long been aware of this lack of understanding and/or willingness by some in the church to follow what is a clear-cut biblical standard concerning Satan's works. Most disturbing was another poll by Ibelieve.com that asked its readers, "Do you hold a leadership role within your church? Fifty-four percent answered, "yes." We assume many of the same people took part in each poll. Adding to the confusion surrounding the Christian position concerning Harry Potter has been the endorsement of Potter books by some in positions of prominence in Christian circles today. Both Christianity Today and Lutheran magazines have given thumbs up to Harry. So has noted evangelical Chuck Colson. Is it through ignorance that those claiming to be bible-believers have expressed positive views about Rowling's books? Certainly liberalism is continuing to encroach upon even the best of churches and denominations. But we perceive that many who view Harry Potter in an acceptable light may be doing so in a vain effort to somehow show the world that Christians aren't really too radical in their views after all. Like it or not though, Scripture presents the case that we must be removed from such
things as witchcraft and sorcery - no matter what the world thinks of us. In the quest for
inclusion there are some around us - some who are Christian leaders - who have no taste
for taking hard stands. How tragic that by standing against nothing, eventually people
will fall for anything! Perhaps we should examine that it is precisely this - our failure
to address evil for what it is - that has allowed Satan to march into homes and hearts and
set up camp? Let it be said once more - this should be a "no-brainer" for the bible
believer. How much clearer does Isaiah 5:20-21 need to be?

President Bush Sworn in with a Masonic Bible? Historic Bible Rained Out in DC ( NY Daily News)An act of God - Saturday's wet weather - prevented President Bush from being sworn in with the historic Bible used to administer the oath of office to his father and to the nation's first President. With a persistent drizzle and temperatures hovering around 30, the 1767 King James Bible that George Washington placed his left hand on was deemed too fragile to brave the elements. "At the last minute, because of the weather, it was decided the chance of it getting wet was too great," said John Mountain, of St. John's Masonic Lodge> on 23rd St. in Manhattan, which houses the Bible. Instead, Bush was sworn in on a family Bible. The historic Bible, which Mountain considers priceless, was also used to swear in Presidents Jimmy Carter, Dwight Eisenhower and Warren Harding." We have been praying that President Bush not take his oath on that Masonic Bible and God has answered our prayers! |
Mail Bag!
Dear Mr. Decker,
I am a 58 year old Ex-Mormon. I joined, (or more correctly, was suckered
into) the Mormon Church, (read, "cult",) in 1972. Granted, I was only in for
four or five years before the Lord, through a good friend, kicked me out of
it. But I learned a lot about Mormonism since then, and have kept up on it
throughout the years. I just recently finished your book "The God Makers."
Before I finished, I must have consumed a whole jumbo tank car full of
Maloxx. I never had such an idea that such dark wicked things were going on
in there. But, I don't doubt it. Praise Jesus, He led me out. And that
brings me to the real purpose of this letter. I would like to share a true
story about the power of the Holy Ghost. Please feel free, if you want to,
to include this on your permanent Mormon Section, and you can use my name.
The Power of the Holy Ghost.
While I was in the Mormon "Church", I was working for a medical device
manufacturing company in Irvine California. I was working the swing shift,
and a friend, who was also Mormon, was supervisor of the night janitorial
gang. His shift overlapped mine by a couple of hours, and we would talk
about the church and all. When I decided to have myself excommunicated, I
was appointed to appear at their (kangaroo) court on a Sunday morning. After
the meeting, I was removed from the rolls. Now, Earl was in the Anaheim
Stake, I was in the Santa Ana Stake. Monday evening, Earl comes in and is
very upset. He wants to know how come I had myself excommunicated. Well, so
much for secrecy in the priesthood! I explained to him what was going on,
and why I left the church. To keep the story short, for the next couple of
months, he kept after me to rejoin, and I kept answering him by "bearing my
testimony" to the true Jesus of the Bible, and pointing out the differences
between Mormonism.
One Wednesday, I was sitting
down at my machine, when I saw Earl come in. I
was ready for another debate, but not for what he had to tell me. He came
over to me, and I could tell something had happened. He said it was a good
thing I was sitting down. I asked him what was wrong. He said, "Nothings
wrong. Just the opposite! Daniel, because of your testimony, my family and I
have been studying the Bible more and more. Last Sunday, I, my wife, our two
sons, their wives and two (each) children,(he paused and took a deep
breath,) "all had ourselves excommunicated from the Mormon Church."
I couldn't breath for a few seconds. Then all I could do was whisper,
"What?" He said, "It was because of your unwavering testimony to the true
God and
Jesus of the Bible, and your refusal to bow to my insistence you come back
into the church that did it. I told my wife, and it kind of snowballed to my
sons and their wives. Because of you, we are all free of that fog that we
now see in the Mormon church."
I had to caution him about giving me credit, when all I did was act as the
mouthpiece for the Lord. It was Jesus, through the Holy Ghost, speaking
through me, that did it. I take no credit whatsoever. He agreed.
Well, that was back in 78 or 79. As far as I know, they are still involved
in a Christian church. I haven't seen them in years as I moved to Vancouver
Washington shortly after, and took a job driving 48 states for J.B.Hunt till
I became disabled and can't work anymore. But I can't remember reading
anywhere where the Holy Spirit got 10 people, all in the same family, out of
the Mormon Church all at the same time. Same day in fact. I look back on
that, and I am still awed and amazed that I was a part of it, if even a
little part. I feel like Moses, when he said, "Who am I Lord, that You would
use me to lead Your people out of Egypt?" And what a wonderful display of
Gods love for all people, and His power over Satan. I declare to all who
read this, I love God, and Jesus, and I publicly reaffirm my faith in Him,
and acceptance of His loving Grace and Salvation through His blood which He
shed on the cross for me. All Glory and Praise to Jesus forever, Amen.
Thank you Mr. Decker, for allowing me the opportunity to share this with
everyone. Your friend in Jesus,
Daniel
Dear Mr. Decker,
First I want to thank you for your extensive research into
the deception of Mormonism!! I also am an ex-Mormon in the process of
witnessing to my still lost family.Having read your most recent article
pertaining to the BOM my mind started wandering and also I have been doing
some research pertaining to ancient lost civilizations trying to find a link
between the Mayans and the lost city of Atlantis. Realizing of course this
is only a guess but don't you find it interesting that the BOM keeps
referring to Mighty Men , similar to the mighty men in Genesis , who we
know to be the offspring of the fallen angels the Nephilim ? Even their name
NEPHIlim . What if the BOM was written by these mighty men? Even more
frightening all of the so called sightings of dead loved ones during baptism
for the dead (such a story is first hand known ) anyway just an idea, but
the demonic parallels are terrifying to say the least. Also have you ever
read any of the prophecy end times books put out by the Mormon church and
compared them to biblical truth? I have and the fact that every one of them
points directly to ANTICHRIST as our Lord Jesus is the most terrifying
thought of all .Sad so many people will be deceived especially if the end
times is anytime this generation. Well enough jabber. I will continue to
pray for your ministry . Thanks Again!
In His Service,
Sarah
Ed,
Dr. Stan Monteith had a guest on his show yesterday, David Carrico, who
talked about freemasonry. Always, when they speak on this subject they
something like the lower degree members are some of the "most wonderful
people in the world" and really have "no idea" about the true wrong
connected with freemasonry.
I have a hard time buying that. There is plenty of information from Dr.
Stan and others that freemasonry is bad news because it worships a false deity.
It seems to me we as Christians are to come out of and have no association
with whatsoever any group (church, work etc.) ones belongs to, when there
are signs of corruption. By corruption, I mean when deception and
manipulation are the main activities of the leadership and true diligent
working for good and legitimate purposes is no longer the purpose and
meaning of the group.
An example of corruption would be our governments CIA or FBI. They seem to
be spending all of their efforts in covering up their activities and any
truthful facts related to their activities. There are certain subjects that
are not to be ever even mentioned in the speech of any of their employees.
Employees who do not cooperate in the "party line" are dismissed.
Employees
who learn how to promote a positive picture of the organization in their
speaking with outsiders are the employees who float to the top. New hires
at the upper level jobs are chosen specifically for their ability to look
nice and say "nice things" when dealing with outsiders.
I just am having a hard time understanding how there can be said to be "so
many wonderful, well-meaning people" who are in these groups.
Corruption has to do with deceit and the many forms of deceit are from
Satan, the father of lies. Whenever one spends one time in anything that only
functions in the environment of secrecy, lies, manipulations and cover-ups,
one has begun to worship something other than the true God.
I once heard someone on one of Dr. Stan's show say that the devil does not
care who or what you worship, just so long as it is not the true God. Jesus
said whoever is not for me is against me.
For these reasons I think people are obligated to face the truth about any
corrupt group they may be a part of and get out of it. I also see why so
many people do not want to face the truth or hear the truth or know the
truth. They want to hold on to their social status and their material
wellbeing. In other words they have sold out to the wrong side.
Please refer me to any material that will help set me straight in my
thinking if I am wrong on this. I wonder if the bible says anything about having a
responsibility to get knowledge. "My people perish for lack of knowledge."
Sorry for long email but am really having a hard time understanding this.
Thank you for your wonderful web site. Can't wait to listen to all the new
audio files you have added.
Sincerely,
Jeannon

Note from Ed:
"Guilty"...... I have often said that the
lower levels in Mormonism and Freemasonry
are filled with victims.....but you are right on the numbers...they are going to
be held accountable for their pride and stubbornness...They do know it is
wrong, especially those with a Christian background! I am going to post
your letter on the web. -Ed
Dear Ed - Please help!
I am sending you this email for a very dear friend of mine who is
desperately trying to find some guidance on a decision that has been tormenting her for
several years. She is a devote Christian who married into a Mormon family
and has been having some real problems with their beliefs. Her father-in-law is
very old with serious heart problems and they are really putting the
pressure on her to allow them to perform a religious ceremony involving their
deceased baby. I sure hope that you can guide her so she can make the right
decision. This has been so hard on her that it has played a role on her health!
Thank you for your time and God Bless you!
Joyce
Dear Ed,
My father-in-law, who is a temple Mormon, would like to seal our deceased
infant son to him, it would require our signed permission. My husband is an
inactive Mormon who left the church at 18. I am a Christian and question why
our permission is required. Any scripture would be appreciated.
Eagerly awaiting you answer,
Debbie
Ed Writes:
Do Not do this.... It is highly unbiblical and occult. You are not of that
faith and tell them that it is a terribly sensitive issue in your life and
faith and you are not of their faith. no no no no!
Your baby son is already in heaven, in the presence of God...exactly where
our own infant daughter, Julie, is right this moment. Tell him to please
honor your wishes and do not ever mention it again.
The ritual he suggests goes beyond that, where he will take parenthood over
the child when he becomes a god in his own right, or so he foolishly
believes. He would do this because he believes that your husband is unworthy
to be the child's father in the next life and because you are a non-believer
[gentile] and also unworthy for goddess-hood. The whole thing is wretchedly
offensive to the Christian mindset..
This is the info on baptism for the dead. It is the base dogma and the rest
comes from that platform.
Please email me if I can be of ANY further help.

#132 - Proxy Baptism for the Dead in Mormonism
"Mormons do believe that people can be "saved" (converted to Mormonism)
after they are dead. (See Doctrine and Covenants 124:29-33, also sections
127 and 128). This can only be done in temples, by worthy living Mormons who
hold temple recommends, although the baptisms themselves can also be done by
LDS children over the age of eight.
Baptism is the first ceremony performed in behalf of the dead in the temple.
This is performed in the beautiful baptismal font mounted on the statues of
12 full sized oxen, located in the temple basement. Some of the newer
temples have 6 oxen backed up to a set of mirrors. The Officiator and the
patron are in the font dressed in heavy white jump-suits. There are two or
more witnesses observing the procedure.
Often a closed circuit TV. is used to project the names of the deceased
persons on a large TV. screen. Typically 200-300 baptisms are performed per
hour, with LDS teenagers serving as proxies to introduce them into the
temple rituals and vicarious ordinance work at an impressionable age. The
baptismal pronouncement is recited in full for each baptism, and the patron
is completely immersed by the Officiator as observed and approved by the two
witnesses
It is believed that people who died without hearing about Mormonism (up
until recently, virtually all the world) are placed in "spirit prison,"
where they are actually visited by spirit LDS missionaries. These spirit
missionaries teach them the gospel, and then the dead person has the right
to either accept or reject the teaching. If they reject it, they go into the
outer darkness or at least the lowest kingdom.
If they accept it, then they must await someone on earth who will do their
"ordinances" for them by proxy. Some have waited centuries. This is why good
Mormons are commanded to seek out their own ancestors to at least four
generations back. They must get birth, marriage, and death records for all
their ancestors. Once these records have been entered and approved by the
LDS Genealogical department, the person can go to the temple and receive the
proxy ordinances (including baptism, ordination, endowment and sealing for
time and all eternity) for their ancestors of the same gender. Men must do
male proxy ordinances, and women do female ones.
This is why the church has the largest genealogical library in the world,
and why it spends millions of dollars collected records on people,
world-wide. It is believed that once these proxy ordinances have been done,
the person in spirit prison (if they believe the LDS gospel up there) is
released and allowed to go to the celestial kingdom. Once their own
ancestors have been done, then Mormons are obligated to continue faithful
temple attendance and do proxy work for the names of dead people which the
church has collected from all over the world. Eventually, the church
believes it will have genealogy records and proxy ordinances done for every
human being from Adam onward.
However, the church is not even keeping up with the current death rate; much
less getting ahead. It is estimated that there are at least 16 billion dead
souls in human history. It would take thousands of years for the church to
simply DO those ordinances, to say nothing of collecting the data. Besides,
it is foolishness according to the Bible. Hebrews 9:27 and Luke 16:19-31
make it quite clear that the state one is in at the moment of death
determines their salvation or damnation. Nothing done for the dead can
affect them in any way!"
